As you may already be well aware, I have quite a fondness for Welsh Corgis. What's not to love? They are fluffy, have big pointy ears and stubby little legs, and always look like they're smiling. 


Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old have a Corgi of my very own. Unfortunately, on account of fairly frequent relocations, lack of a vehicle, and the imminent time sink of graduate school, I will probably not be attaining the status of Responsible Dog Owner anytime soon.

Here's where you can help! Squishable is holding a vote to choose which breed  to roll out for their next doggie design. Corgis have been neck-and-neck with Shiba Inus, which are also very cute but, alas, not Welsh Corgis.


So I'm asking all of ye to cast your vote for the Welsh Corgi before May 7th, so that I can have a spherical live Corgi surrogate to hug and rest my weary head upon in the dog-less days ahead.
