Bang bang

Some bullets before I hit the road:

Cheers,

Tesla Tuesday #5: he'd overturn the system; there was no way to resist him

I was first alerted to the existence of this magnificent musical tribute by camerado Kammerud.  It's the first track in an album created by 8in8, a shiny new band comprised of Amanda Palmer, Ben Folds, Neil Gaiman, and Damian Kulash.

This was dropped on my Facebook wall by birthday buddy Erin (click through for the full-size version):

That's all for today, folks. Happy Tuesday!

Having finally remembered my Formspring password, I've added a P.A.Q. section to the site. So if you've any questions of your own to ask me, anonymously or otherwise, fire away!

I have one for ye, actually: How the blazing blazes do I get rid of the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the iframe?

In the meantime, have some photos that've been sitting on my memory card for a while.

A few weeks ago, my friends Sam and Anna hosted a Masquerade.  There were several cats in attendance:

Anna's Brother's Cat!
Cassius!

Pippin!
Several humans, as well:

I made a Plague Doctor mask out of Model Magic and a stiff paper base.  It didn't have enough time to dry, so I wore it unpainted:

The rest are shots I took around town:

Busking on the Wired

You may have noticed a new widget in the upper right-hand corner of this blog that looks like this, only bluer:

and a link to my ChipIn page with further details.

I'm trying to do a little fundraising to help ease the financial burden of Clarion West.  What with my upcoming move for grad school and uncertainty re: future employment, my situation is not the most secure.  Certainly not the most dire -- I am, after all, blessed with an abundance of overgenerous family and friends -- but a little lacking in rock-steadiness.  So if any of ye could do with a little more origami critters, handmade postcards, line notes, or tarot readings and a little less cash, I'd appreciate whatever you can spare!

I am, of course, not the only one with a sad wallet and a ticket to Seattle this summer.  Here are some of my future Clarion classmates' projects, which are what gave me the idea to do this ChipIn thing:

Cassi Krahe is selling her hair! so much hair! Ye be too late, 'm'afraid!
