Holy crow, it's been a while! So I guess that "busy week" of mine turned out to be more of a busy month. Time flies when you're jetlagged six ways to Sunday, I guess.

So I'm back in the Mighty Midwest of the good ol' U.S. of A., and have settled in pretty nicely. I've moved in with my boyfriend and his roommates (two human, one canine [squee!]) for the next couple months, and probably have him to thank for the long awaited resumption of my sleep schedule to something resembling that of your average diurnal carbon-based bipedal creature.

Here are a few shots from the last few days of my life in Seoul, plus a couple from soon after my arrival in Chicago.

My hair at its poofiest! It's settled down some in the past few weeks, which is something about which I'm still not sure I feel relief or regret.

Post-level exam (I paaaassed!) feasting at taekkyeon, for which the masters joined us mere mortals. One of the questions the presiding master asked me after my practical was how my students had reacted upon seeing my hair. When I said that I hadn't gotten it done 'til after vacation started, and so hadn't been seen by my students, he responded, "That's a relief."
