You may have noticed a new widget in the upper right-hand corner of this blog that looks like this, only bluer:

and a link to my ChipIn page with further details.

I'm trying to do a little fundraising to help ease the financial burden of Clarion West.  What with my upcoming move for grad school and uncertainty re: future employment, my situation is not the most secure.  Certainly not the most dire -- I am, after all, blessed with an abundance of overgenerous family and friends -- but a little lacking in rock-steadiness.  So if any of ye could do with a little more origami critters, handmade postcards, line notes, or tarot readings and a little less cash, I'd appreciate whatever you can spare!

I am, of course, not the only one with a sad wallet and a ticket to Seattle this summer.  Here are some of my future Clarion classmates' projects, which are what gave me the idea to do this ChipIn thing:

Cassi Krahe is selling her hair! so much hair! Ye be too late, 'm'afraid!

Jenni Moody's Kickstarter, "Clarion Bound: Writing & Living at Clarion West 2011."

Mark Pantoja's Kickstarter project, "Other Possibilities."

Cheers,
